Not a fan of billionaire in titles, but this wasn't really about that. It was better than I expected, but I liked You Are Mine best of the series. ( )

Oh gosh, I think I'm a little bit in love with Elijah. And Violet is so perfect, getting into the gooey goodness hidden beneath that hard heartless exterior. I loved Zac and Eva's book but this one is too good. The broken man, single-mindedly set on revenge actually does something so unexpected it makes you pause. Elijah sure knows the meaning of the word "sacrifice". As for Violet, I just wanted to hug her and hide her under my mother hen wings. And poor Gabe, his life was a living nightmare for a while but then I guess he did the brotherly thing in the end. Can't wait for the next one.

Elijah is out for revenge. He's suffered a loss that would break a lesser man, but not Elijah, it's taken several years and he's now had to make a fast change to his plans, but it's still good and when he gets Violet in his clutches it can still get his revenge.
Except he's not expecting her pluckiness, strength and the electrifying attraction he feels towards her that sets his body a fire.
Violet is terrified, her father's bodyguard seems to have gone crazy and has taken her hostage and she has no idea why? As time passes her circumstances change as Elijah explains his revenge plans and why, and Violet wants to help.
This was a tense thriller with twists and turns, and the steamy sex scenes were very hot, it was a very well written story and kept me enthralled right to the end. ( )
