This book talks about the sun, it's proximity to us its relative size to us, it's temperature and how many miles across it is. Filled with fascinating facts and beautiful illustrations that had my children asking questions all throughout the read. ( ) The book is wonderful for a science lesson involving starts or the sun. It explains the sun and why and how it is a star, how far it is, and even includes some relations to get an idea of size. This book includes facts that students need when first learning about our solar system and would be great to share with a class. This story gives an overview of the sun. It brings up many important facts that people should know about this star. The sun is so important to the Earth and I love that the book addresses that. It was helpful that the author compared the moon's distance and times to the suns, this made it easier to understand. Solar energy is introduced and its history its history is discussed. The end of the book is an interactive section that gives instructions on different activities one can do that involve the sun. I think this book is informative and is a good book to use to teach about the sun. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
