This story was a good way to tell children about how it is ok to not have the perfect drawing. I would also say that it could translate over into life. One of the last lines in the book helped solidify this, "even a messy scribble can be a lovely thing". This could help children, especially those who put high pressure on themselves, see that a "scribble" in life can actually turn out to be a good thing. The crayons books gets canceled, as you read the book you find out the reason why. The crayons were ready to tell their story when someone scribbled on the page, a scribble is a terrible thing for a story. No matter how hard the crayons tried they only bade the scribble worse so the story had to be canceled. The crayons forgot to tell frankencrayon who was waiting on page 22, he found the scribble and gave it a mouth and legs and it left. The story ends with the crayons telling us four lessons to be learned from the book. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
