Excellent Romantic Suspense, very good characters
It had all the good elements of romantic suspense with very few of the bad. the bad first- some of the crimes were a lil far fetched. if the criminals were as smart as they seemed to be then they would not have done some of the things that led to their capture. the good- the characters were damaged. they all had emotional healing to do. i'll list some of the things they were dealing with- survivor's guilt, PTSD, agoraphobia, revenge obsession, childhood physical abuse, messed up family situations, serious trust issues, fear of dogs, and that's all i can remember right now. the women did that thing that every woman apparently is required to do in a romance and they got all mad and pissy when the guy told her to do something for her own safety. but unlike most romance heroines these women got mad, calmed downed and realized the guy was right and did what he said. yay for common sense!
