Both the art and text communicate Degas’s curiosity with the world around him. The text is descriptive and asks questions that Degas himself might have pondered as he surveyed the everyday scenes he walked through. The illustrations are not ones I personally appealing but they are very detailed and bring the reader into the world that Degas lived in, Paris in the middle and late 19th century. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
