If you are looking for a book to help you talk to a young one about death and grieving then this book is the one for you. In this wonderfully illustrated book based on the author's loss of her own son we meet a queen and her son. She heals the earth and makes people all around her feel better. When her son dies she becomes so distraught that she can't help heal anyone or anything. She only wants to see her son again. It is the visit of her son in a different form that brings new life back to the Queen and at the same time to her kingdom. This is a fairy tale of love and hope after something tragic.

This fairy tale is beyond exceptional! I recommend it to every person, everywhere. It resonated with me; and I know that it will resonate with everyone. It is based on Ms. Sengsouvanna's son, Todd, who passed away unexpectedly. That experience would do many of us in. However, Ms. Sengsouvanna did one better and made this a hopeful, inspirational, and courageous book full of love and happiness. This is something we could all use.

I was 48 when I lost my beloved grandma, who practically raised me when my mom had post-pardem depression and would beat on me and swear at me for 11 years, growing up. So grandma meant everything to me. I still cry once in a while, missing her. However, some of the very same things happened to me after grandma passed over: MIRACULOUS things. So I know that even reading about this story is an inspiration to anyone who hears it or reads it. It helped me deepen my love for my best friend, my mentor, and my rock. I will never get tired of rereading this book. I encourage everyone to give this book a try. It may change your outlook on life and the hereafter.

Thank you Ms. Sengsouvanna and Word Slinger for giving me a free book to read and give my honest review. ( )
