All in all I kind of have mixed feelings about Gravitation as a whole. Some parts I like very much, for instance in this one I love how little Riku keeps trying to make Yuki feel better and the conversation where Sakuma tells Yuki he really shouldn't keep taking Shuichi for granted. I also love the ending scene on top of the hospital building. On the other hand I don't really like the bloody noses and violence and particularly don't like anything that has to do with Reiji, she freaks me out!

Most of the artwork in this volume was really good. Some of the drawings of Yuki and Sakuma are stunning. I also love the one panel when we first meet Riku with he and Shuichi both staring at Yuki with those enormous eyes. So Cute!! The one drawing that I thought was kind of weird was the cover art. Does it look like Shuichi has grown breasts or is it just me?!

I think this might be my favorite Gravitation (not counting "The Novel") although I missed Hiro since he was only in a few panels. Kind of an odd start to a branch off series which I'm not entirely sure we'll see completed since it has been a while since this was printed and it doesn't look like another one will be forthcoming soon (although I know Murakami has written more to the series.)
