While designed for public librarians doing programs with pre-K-5, Pawloski presents some full-blown ideas for connecting kids using tablet apps with creating, storytelling, reading, and just plain fun projects. For the school librarian looking for ideas, this one can give you ideas, particularly for a parent day or night or after school programs. Each major activity is not only fleshed out but enough instructions are used to connect children with the various methods of using apps for both IOS and Android. After a major section of recommended programs, the final part of this book is a list ow recommended Apps with full descriptions and possibilities. The book is worth its price just for this annotated list. When we picked up this book, we expected to encounter models of making in educational theory and some research backing. It is not here, but should be. Nevertheless, this is a recommended source of ideas that have obviously been used with children a number of times before publication. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
