A attempt on her life was made, and ever since she is hardly allowed to go outside. She has got several bodyguards to keep her safe. Then one day Kaya is kidnapped. I liked the start of the book, but pretty soon the main character was annoying me. There was a badly executed love triangle, where there was no chemistry. Some reactions and emotions of the characters felt off. The plot had unrealistic parts and was a bit weird. Though I can't tell you what was so weird without spoilers. The author has created good characters ,secrets, twists and turns, cliff hangers and melting moments. Kaya father is rich, and does not want her out of his sight, grandfather wants to see her dead and under security- well what a life! As secrets emerge the twists with come and turn.  'It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a romantic suspense this much ... probably since my last Sandra Brown and that is saying something. ESPECIALLY for a first book from an author. Are you kidding me?!? THIS is what you're coming out of the gate with? I'll be stalking library shelves indefinitely for this author - she had me hooked after the first page. Lifetime fan. SO good.'
