At first I enjoyed this book, but then upon beginning the Ron Chernow biography of Alexander Hamilton, this one seemed a little *too* fictionalized for me. I knew it was a fictional story going in and I expected some artistic license. After all, we don't know what exactly Elizabeth and Alexander said to each other. But, some of the artistic license seemed a little too far-fetched for me. If you haven't read any actual biographies of either one, you might enjoy this.
