This book could be used for younger children who are not yet able to read because there are no words. This book was very interesting because it had no words and expressed the story just with pictures that spread across all the pages. This story follows a little girl who finds a dog and each page tells a different part of the story based on what the page was depicting. In a classroom this could be used as a read aloud where the teacher asks questions about what they think is happening in the story. ( ) This story opens up on a young girl who finds a little dog. The dog means so much to her, and during their time together, they form relationship and bond together. While caring and understanding the dog, she realizes that the owner wants her dog back and she will have to separate from the dog.
