He wasn’t thrilled to be auctioned off for a date he didn’t want. Taylor Jennings was a busy man and had no interest in the outcome. He was only there because it was a fundraiser for a good cause. Yet, Taylor figured he would be bid on for one of two reasons. Either they wanted to pitch a proposal to him, or they were hoping to be the next Mrs. Jennings. Except once he took his eyes off his phone, he realized the woman standing in front of him was wearing a discount gown (ewww!) so she may be thrilled to be taken out to have a special treat. He’d be willing to do that for her.

This one was a pompous jerk who was more interested in his phone. Then had the audacity to give her only thirty minutes of his time. Samantha was not going to allow that to happen. He was going to do some work. So, Samantha told him to pick her up in the morning.

Taylor’s reaction will shock you. It shocked me. That was just the beginning of the one date they promised each other.

Diane Alberts made me laugh out loud as Samantha and Taylor learn they have more in common than what they originally thought. That date sure brought Taylor back to earth. Laughter is indeed the best medicine!
