Forgive me, I can't remember names of characters:

An easy read about a music talent scout who was acquitted of murdering a young woman through choking during sex. "It was a tragic accident". Too bad that the woman's best friend doesn't believe it. Her roommate and best friend for years would never be into "that kinky stuff". So she spends her time stalking the man through various clubs and establishments hoping to get the "truth" from him about why he killed her best friend and how it went down.

Meanwhile this guy is seeing her stalking him and can't take his eyes off of her. He wants to do dirty things to this woman who is just asking for trouble.

They meet, banter, and fall into bed. Fall in love.

Side story about the truth that went down between the guy and the woman who died.

K Webster made a good book, an easy read, nothing to really write home about. However, for a Kindle Unlimited it was a good palate cleanser between other books. Don't feel the need to reread it.

Sorry if this seems lukewarm, but not every book is a grand slam. Some of the best hitters still make a base run. ( )

This read, just wow! It is absolutely beyond hot and intense. There is a clever blend of hatred and passion. You know the kind. Where you want so badly to hate someone, but all you can think about is all the sexy moments you’d rather spend with them. You hate yourself for it, but cannot help feeling it, and the more you are around them, the more intense the feeling gets - especially when you can tell they want you too.

It’s only a matter of time, as much as she tries to push him away, and when the intensity becomes too much, the moments that follow are glorious. The detail and steamy excitement these two create, when they come together, is so exciting to read. They are like moths to the flame, and cannot keep from touching one another.

The storyline fits well and the pace really creates the perfect steamy, short read. I love that you are thrown into the deep end, with their passion, and not one did the authors look back. We just plow, both figuratively and literally, straight through the pages. I loved every moment and definitely enjoyed evert sexy scene the two main characters shared together.

This is an excellent read and I cannot recommend it enough, especially if you want something super hot and shorter to read! ( )
