This was a beautiful story that was based around the Islamic faith. This is a wonderful story about love and family as well as religion. This book could be great for any ages and it can used to introduce different religions at a young age. So, so beautiful. Warm-toned, full-bleed illustrations bring a story to each individual sentence/prayer: for example, "Inshallah you travel to thrilling new places" is accompanied by art showing three children - one in a wheelchair - playing and imagining in a blanket fort; "Inshallah you are thoughtful of plans that you make" shows a child poised to jump into an adult's arms in a swimming pool. There is one prayer per page spread, in rhyming pairs: "Inshallah you find wonder in birds as they fly. / Inshallah you are loved, like the moon loves the sky." (Just try reading those final lines, over a picture of a mother and daughter snuggled in bed with a book, without tearing up!) Utterly lovely.
