This one would be a better choice for kids who like to build something they can play with afterward. Each of the rides (carousel, Ferris wheel, bumper cars, roller coaster, swing ride and helter-skelter) can be played with and enjoyed after being built. Even better, should one of them wear out, another can easily be built. A great choice for youngsters who have focus issues, but are willing to persevere. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

There is the option to make a helter-skelter, bumper cars or the amusement park grounds. These all are explained on one spread with pictures of the materials needed, instructions in easily recognizable numbered paragraphs and a box explaining the science behind the ride. There are bigger projects that follow the same pattern but are explained on two spreads like the roller coaster or the Ferris wheel.
Although it is geared towards 3rd through 5th grade, middle school and maybe even high school students into amusement park rides could get ideas from this book. It ends with a glossary page, further information and an index.
