This book is filed with great photos of the supplies you need for each experiment and each step. This book is a greaat resource for children who want to learn about science at home or even for science rojects at school. I was impressed with the experiments that were in the book, the water filter teaches the child how water filters itself naturally using soil, rocksm sand, and plant matter. When done properly the muddy water you put in the filter will then come out clean. Another expreiment they book shos us is how magnetic fields work. Using magnets, we are able to learn about magnettic pullings. The photos show the reader about 3-D fields and magnetic patterns. Overall, this is a great book to get children interested in science a hands on way. This book is full of very basic science and experiments for kids to try. These experiments are very basic introductions to chemistry and physics that are suitable for young children, but could be used to demonstrate principals even to much older students. They are very easy, clearly explained (though I would have liked a tiny bit more explanation on the expected results), and clearly illustrated with photographs. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
