Just as fantastic as the first one, with the added bonus that we finally find out about Finn’s stalker. That was some stressful stuff right there. I had it narrowed down to two people, and one of those was correct. I was glad it wasn’t the other person I suspected. Either way, great mystery and lovely romance for Finn and Marcus. I’m looking forward to more about these guys and seeing what happens next for Karsyn. ( )

As soon as I figured out who the bad vamp was (out of my two suspects), I lost all desire to soldier on thru this madness. ( )

This received a 3.5 star rating purely because I didn't work out who the bad guy was until the end. However, that might also be because I felt I was skim-reading a lot of this rather than being truly invested in the characters. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy these guys, it's just I felt that the humour seemed too much a lot of the time.

Look, I get humour. I love it when characters get snarky and take the mickey out of themselves and their partners. I know that when times or situations get tough sometimes inappropriate humour bursts out. But this was edging towards slapstick comedy, and I've never been a fan of that.

Maybe if I were to reread it at a different time of my life when I'm in a different state of mind I would be more tolerant and give it a higher rating. As it stands right now though, I'm not really planning on rereading this as time soon... ( )

These two, man, they are so funny. Finn and Marcus are so sweet and loving, but also incredibly funny. I just love them so much. ( )
