She needs to get out of there and luckily for her Jackson whom is a friends of her and team mate to cheating rat bastard helps her get out. Jackson family is cray cray and so dysfunctional, we have father who cheated on mom, granddad marries much younger woman, their fights and arguments all over. Now Jackson helps Molly leave but they are just friends, Steve is still his teammate but a cheating scumbag. Will he go there, someone who would be deemed off limits, but Steve was the wrong one, and Jackson is realizing that there was a mutual attraction, could they have more? Grab a copy!

Kelly Jamieson is on a winning streak with Game Changer (Wynn Hockey #5). This is NHL Chicago Aces’ Jackson (Jax) Wynn’s story. Jax rescues his friend, Molly Flynn from her wedding to his teammate, Steve Shevchuk after she discovered Steve cheated on her. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult readers.

This story takes place around the ending of book four, For the Win. I adored this novel. It was entertaining and thought-provoking. With Molly being Jax’s teammate’s ex-fiancé, there were some moral issues that both characters struggled with. Molly and Jax were friends. They try to keep things platonic. Problem is they are attracted to each other, and their personalities are compatible. I loved the trivia aspect of the story; especially Jax’s trivia game toward the end of the story.

Game Changer is the perfect addition to the Wynn Hockey series. It is skillfully written. The plot is stimulating and well executed. The characters go through attention-grabbing circumstances. You could follow this book as a standalone, but I recommend reading the entire series. There are things that happen in the other books that are relevant to this story. I recommend this book to people who enjoy sports romances and trivia. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. ( )

"Game Changer: A Wynn Hockey Novel" by Kelly Jamieson

My Speculation:

This was a rollercoaster ride for Jax and Molly, with her needing help in getting away from her problem. They start as friends, but one can see where this is going, especially with Jax not being able to say no to Molly. The read included Jax's family, which were quite interesting in how this story will all play out with all of the Wynn family drama. All in all, we get a good read that was somewhat humorous. Adorable and romantic. So, by the end, will you see a HEA or for two? Well, you will have to pick up 'Game Changer' to find out.
