The Abhidharma is a collection of Buddhist scriptures that investigate the workings of the mind and the states of human consciousness. In this book, Chögyam Trungpa shows how an examination of the formation of the ego provides us with an opportunity to develop real intelligence. Trungpa also presents the practice of meditation as the means that enables us to see our psychological situation clearly and directly. This book records a 1975 seminar given by Chogyam Trungpa, with each chapter providing Trungpa's teachings, followed by an extensive Q&A discussion. This is a fairly short but not easy read. The Abhidharma presents the Buddhist philosophy of mind, or Buddhist Psychology, and is one "Basket" of the Tripitaka (along with the Sutras and the Vinaya). Chapters/Seminars cover the Five Skandhas: Form, Feeling, Perception, Intellect, and Consciousness. Also Meditation, Auspicious Coincidence (the 12 Nidanas of Dependent Origination), and Practice & Intellect. Worth the effort. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

> Dans son livre ce maître réalisé de la lignée de la folle sagesse explique que le désespoir est une autre facette de l'égo, l'art de saisir à nouveau l'espace en nous convaincant que nous ne saisissons rien.
