A standalone enemies-to-lovers romance from USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde... Court Kensington is a thorn in my side. I'm hired to clean up his bad boy image, which would've been easy if my life wasn't falling apart. First, I catch my movie star husband having an affair with his co-star. Then when I dump him and return to work, my job is at stake. Court has gotten himself into trouble... again. Instead of getting him back in line, I find myself falling for his charm. And into his bed. And against the wall. And, and, and... Exceptm Kensington charm shouldn't work on me. Not when I've sworn to never ever sleep with a client. I had good intentions. I really did. But, we all know the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |

But... This is sooo good.
The Hero Court is nothing like he is portrayed.
He is actually a sweetheart.
The heroine has a tough exterior bit is actually very vulnerable.
The other issue I have with this book is that you know when you read book 1 and the author drops hints about future books in the series and you can't wait to read a particular one, and the next book comes out but that's not the one you couldn't wait for.
So this book was a good suprise.
There are breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series.
Lots of references to other characters and couples.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
The heroine is with her husband in the prologue but it's when she finds out he cheated, but she does mention that they were I intimate when she arrived as they have a long distance relationship due to work. But no details.
The heroine thinks the Hero is a playboy but he isn't.
He was in the past but he changed when he had a serious relationship that went wrong and hasn't been with anyone since her.
When he messes up there is redemption.
No cheating by the Hero and heroine, though technically the heroine is not yet divorced when the Hero and heroine start things but her marriage is over and it's clear to all parties.
Dual POV.
HEA.
Teaser chapter for next book.
