This is a lively, thoughtful, creative, and practical pamphlet about Quaker outreach. Lloyd has a vision of an engaging and celebratory Quaker outreach based on promoting awareness of Quaker identity, emphasizing membership, improving pastoral care, and nurturing new leadership.
He addresses the affirmation we realize in being visible as Quakers, commitment to our testimony of community and what this means, and caring attentiveness by the meeting to the members' needs and spiritual nurture. He speaks of looking for, developing, and supporting Quaker leaders who know and use Quaker process to help Friends support each other, discern our way forward, and come to loving unity. He speaks passionately of supporting young Friends as they lead a way to a 21at century Religious Society of Friends. ( )

What does it mean to be a Quaker? Do we "rubber stamp" membership applications? How do YA Friends operate their society? Lloyd pressupposes the shrinking of RSoF which is belied by the robustness of Baltimore Yearly Meeting ( )
