If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. I hekking loved this story, these characters, literally everything.

Noah and Cole! I loved this story. The build of the relationship, the tension of the mystery, the fear during the twist, and the happiness in the end. This book is was excellent. Noah figuring out who he is and Cole finding the person who he can share a life with! ( )

At 62%, I hit my wall. After the wildly overdramatic scene I just finished, I'm done.

The reason for Noah hiding his sexuality is very strong. But nothing takes the place of actual communication, which we've had plenty of time for and which neither man used. The point of that appears to be to add to this over-the-top bit. My suspension of disbelief has collapsed. I can see the next crisis coming, a kind I never enjoy, and that combination is too much to ask of this reader. ( )

I am so glad I bought books 1 & 2 in this series so that i can visit with Noah and Cole as often and whenever I want to and I don't have to share them with anyone:) The series is in the M/M romance genre, but the murder mystery is as good as in any other murder mystery series if not better. I never guessed the killer although I began to suspect that it was just too perfect for the case to be entirely finished. To sum this series up, think of it as Tal Bauer bringing a CSI-like mystery, thriller, suspense to life… while mixing it with a bit of romance and two guys that are very much in love. I hope that Tal Bauer finds himself driven to write more about Noah and Cole. ( )

pacing was all over the place - slow and very sexy, fast paced mystery filled middle with little to no external romance development and slow ending that basically summed it all up
I wish I loved it more because beginning was absolutely perfect, but middle fell short and dragged a little ( )
