A good romantic suspense with plenty of exciting action and an enjoyable secondary romance. I really liked the heroines humanity and how she reached out to everyone. SEAL Commander Joe comes home from a terrible mission to find his neighbor Navy Lt Penny has taken care of his cat.

This is the first time for me reading anything written by this author. It sure won’t be the last. I really enjoyed this book. It was sexy, funny, a total package. I loved the characters Penny and Lia, especially Lia, with her outspoken ways. I totally recommend this novel. It easily is a book you could read, at the beach, in a single outing.Next To Die is actually the 4th book in a series. Of course I never knew that when I started reading. It’s the Navy SEAL Series. The rest of the novels are: Forget Me Not (book 1), In The Dark (book 2), and Time To Run (book 3). I will be purchasing them right away. I can’t wait to read them. (
