A mysterious enemy is destroying time traveling artifacts throughout the universe. Wesley Crusher is in pursuit of the enemy trying to identify the attackers who rip apart structures, moons and planets to destroy their targets. Characters known for years in the Trek universe fall as they raise to identify the enemy. At various times in the years since the various 24th Century Trek shows (Next Generation, DS9, Voyager) ended I’ve contemplated checking out some of the numerous continuation novels, but never really known where to start. Turns out the best place for me to start was the end. This is the first book in a trilogy designed to “align” the continuation stories with the developing chronology of the new shows like Discovery, Picard etc. You couldn’t have designed a more perfect Trek novel for me as it features two of my favorite Trek tropes, time travel stories and alternate realities, with insight into the fates of favorite characters mixed with mystery, action, and some pretty heavy emotional hits. I’ll be keeping an eye out for Book II. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

Here’s the intriguing answer: a timeline Armageddon that resets time itself. Lots of fun and complex interactions from the litverse. ( )
