Glad for Elena and Dante to get their happily ever after. She got the kind of life she truly deserved. Disappointed that she made up with Giselle. In my opinion, there’s just no coming back from what Giselle did. I mean, I like seeing how Elena blossomed into the person she was meant to be and no longer worried about anybody else or what they thought of her. But at the same time, she earned the right to be as hurt and angry as she was. And I don’t like that she was made to feel like a bad person for reacting to the steady stream of betrayals in her life.

Dante, I really loved. He proved time and time again that Elena was number one in his life and that he was do absolutely anything for her. ( )

How is it possible that this author can continually outdo herself with every book?

There is a beauty and grace to what this author writes. Her words seem to have a way of transcending time and space and embed themselves into my very template. As a former English teacher, my heart soars at the challenges she takes when she constructs a scene or creates a character that leaps off the pages. I am in awe of the diligence she takes at doing research so that her characters and their stories remain authentic. She makes me proud that I chose English as my favorite subject because she always manages to bring out the 'human' in Humanities.

I have been waiting on bated breath for this conclusion. I hated waiting in the balance to find out what was going to happen and how the pieces would all come together to give these characters the happily ever after that they deserved. This went beyond what I was expecting In this book, I got to see Elena truly take ownership of her identity and it was beautiful to watch. That is in large part because of the amazing man that Dante was. This guy... good lord. I am not sure how this author continually outdoes herself when it comes to creating leading men but sweet holy titfire... The things this guy says had me swooning more times than I can count. He needs to write a book on how to be the best man or something because everything he said or did had me eating out of the palm of his fictional hand.

I loved the cameos of a few long-time favorites of this family and finally seeing them happy, besides Sebastian but his story is next. I loved getting to see how this family ended up, especially, since I was wondering after the bonus epilogue in the Sins Trilogy Boxset. I got everything that I could have wanted and then some.

This duet is going in my best of 2021, which should be no surprise since she is a one-click author for a reason, and Dante is going in my top five all-time leading book boyfriends. ( )
