I have loved this author previous book and love that the story unlike her others dealt with fate and destiney but still had so many elements that i loved in her middle grade series. This book really was strangers to friends to more in such a short amount of time. I also love the family dyamnics of the sisters on earth and the realtionship ava has with her grandmothers ghosts. This story also had some many small thread that came together in a stunning way. I normally prefer duel pov novels but this one work well for me. Such a quick read and one that i really enojoyed ( )

ahhh the emotions I felt throughout this book were absolutely amazing!! I'm truly happy for Rion and Ava, they deserve nothing but the best. this book is probably in my top 10 favorite books I've read this year so far! this book quite literally pulls at your heartstrings and keeps you hooked while you read it, not once did I want to put this book down and I wish I could've read it in one sitting. I literally gasped when you find out Achilles had a twin!! and how they're both polar opposites of one another, I'm also glad we were able to find out who was Marry Me Guy and got to see their happy ending at the very end. I enjoyed how the author not only talked a bit about constellations but also added two greek gods (Achilles and Athena). I thought for the first half that Achilles was her guy and I literally was so confused cause this book doesn't look like a enemies-to-lovers, and would you look at that I was right!! ( )

Nicely blended story of loss, grief, sibling bonding, and romance. Ava's family has a matriarchal power. When a grandmother dies, they pass a supernatural power to any granddaughters present. When she's involved in a fender bender on her way to be with Nana who's on her deathbed, it not only prevents her from receiving her power, it starts a whole chain of events. They involve Nana's ghost who can't move on until the gift is retrieved, or time runs out, leaving Nana to wander in fading spirit form as she loses all her memories, Ava confusing twin brothers who have their own issues with death and grief, plus an obscure saint who's trying to help Nana right the ship. It's a fun and quite enjoyable tale. ( )

To start off I love the cover it's very pretty. Ava's Nana dying was very sad and how she was late to recieve her blessing and it sent out to someone else. How Ava's mom left her when she was younger was sad. I don't understand how people can do this to their own kid.

Quote "Nana spoke your blessing at exactly 8:51." Ava not knowing her blessing is sad.
Quote "Meteors, Stars, 8:51. Collision. And hummingbird." Her grandma said this when Ava was in the accident making her late for her blessing which lead me to think something was up when this happened. I'm including this because it's important part of this story. It had me hooked hooked at this part.

The day following her grandmas death especially her funeral must have been hard. It gave me flash backs to my grandmas funeral. When her sister said she's the family serial dater though it lightened up the mood.

Ava seeing her Nana's ghost was scary at first and what her fate might be if they don't get Ava's blessing back. Her loosing her memory over this mistake is just not ok.

In the story they go after the person who accidentally got the blessing and have to get it back by August 16th on the evening of a meteor shower or Nana looses her memories and the girls can no longer pass blessings onto their daughters. I personally think the guy who she got into accident with is the one. But you'll need to read to find out.

This book was very intense, interesting and emotional. I loved the pace of it. I definitely recommend this one I give it a 4.5/5 stars and I'd definitely reread.

Do I reccomend? 100% yes ( )
