This is definitely a hockey touchdown (wink wink). Cameron aka Lowell is another amazing hockey player in this series that you fall in love with almost instantly and Hollis is a strong woman who may be struggling for now, but that doesn’t hold her down for long. Lowell has one true love and that’s hockey because in the past he has been burned really bad by someone he thought loved him, so now he lives and breathes hockey. No attachments, no relationships, he’s only a one timer and that’s it. Hollis is going through a rough time lately after finding out about her ex husband the last thing she expects is this arrogant guy coming in and ruining her sister’s wedding, but what she doesn’t know is Lowell is far from arrogant and she seriously misjudges him. As things heat up and they figure out just how much they both had misjudged each other they agree to a one timer, only it seems fate has other plans. When Hollis isn’t expecting the unexpected and Lowell thinks history is repeating itself will these two be able to figure how to work things out or both fall apart under their fears? Their banter was hilarious, especially the texting which this author has on point, I laughed and swooned, then admired both of their strength for doing what they did. My heart hurt that they both had some things that held them back from fully trusting their hearts with others, but I loved how they helped each other. Lowell had a heart of gold under all the walls he build up and Hollis had a strength to her that was fierce. I loved the ranch dressing part and seeing my favorites Z D. This series has become my one of my favorite hockey series because you will laugh but you will also get all the emotions within these characters. ( )
