As the series progresses, readers learn more about this band of brotherhood that brought these heroes to escape their world for freedom. And with each new book, readers get to learn more about each hero and how they reached their happy endings. With this book, the youngest hero of the original brotherhood entangles himself with the feisty heroine that was introduced in the previous book. The hero and the heroine are attracted to each other, but they are stubbornly against being together as a couple due to their own experiences. But as they grow closer, various obstacles crops up and the couple must learn to give in to their feelings and face these troubles together.

This is the third book in the Hell Bent series. It features a hero and a heroine with pasts that hinders them in some ways. Yet in this book, this couple grows individually and together. Along their journey the couple are supported with secondary characters that had been with them since the beginning of this series. Such familial bonds are truly exemplified in this book as these uniquely strong characters helps the couple in the changes that they are facing in this book. There are also characters introduced in this particular book that are hopefully will make huge appearances in future books. It would be nice to have some more details in certain parts of the book but overall my personal preference is not detrimental in enjoying the book. In conclusion, I look forward to reading more Hell Bent books in the future.
