You cannot see any of them! Although they may be invisible, they each have a story to tell. The dog and cat from the previous titles in this loose series are back again, discovering what happens to a book when key components can't be seen. As with the previous two titles, everything is very tongue-in-cheek humorous and meta, with the characters speaking to the readers as words blow off the page and more. I love how everything comes together in the third story, with all of the characters in the book interacting. It is therefore necessary to read all three short stories in order, but it is not necessary to have read the previous two books in the series (although I do recommend it!). The illustrations are crucial to the storytelling and are the perfect middle ground between sparse and overcrowded. This book is sure to delight young readers who like jokes and puns. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

It's not easy to enjoy a picnic when you have unseeable interlopers to contend with! In a new trio of stories for beginning readers, the affable Max the dog and mischievous Baby Cakes the cat encounter a scare-happy ghost who has a run-in with a mirror, the wind at its blustery best, and a teeny-tiny fairy with a wayward wand who may have met her match. -- From the publisher. words, these three humorous stories about a ghost, the wind, and a fairy are reminiscent of Mo Willems's "Elephant
and Piggie" titles. This collection also works as a fun read-aloud.
