So, I've been hearing about the increase of manhwa (Korean comics) being published in English in the U.S. and decided I should read at least one to get a sense of them. It seemed like several of the ones available through my library had a reincarnation theme, and this one seemed the most interesting out of those. I love that it's full color and the illustrations are generally beautiful and top notch (although occasionally, especially for high-emotion moments, there are some that seem more cartoon-ish or sketch-like). The story is a little unusual and convoluted, but I did find myself quickly invested in it! I like the main character Shuri and I am intrigued by the political machinations to see where it's all going. The stepchildren are both a little obnoxious but also kind of endearing. I am looking forward to reading more volumes in the series. (
