She wants me to break.” James Caine’s writing style and ability for bringing a story to life are two things I love. It was the same with this book. Two different people’s points of view are used to tell the story of both the past and the present. I was constantly on the edge of my seat while reading this book. An absolute must read! =========
Told from dual points of view and alternating between past and present, the intriguing plot twists and turns as suspense builds. Strong characters and a believable frenemy situation keep the pages turning as readers begin to understand the relationship between the two women.
With its twisty plot, secrets, and lies, the narrative keeps readers guessing as the two women try to manipulate things in order to keep their secrets safe. Readers are sure to find themselves turning pages as fast as possible just to find out what happens next.
Readers who enjoy psychological thrillers and mysteries are sure to enjoy this unputdownable tale with its surprising denouement that most will not expect.
Highly recommended.
