Pooh and Piglet visit a museum and learn about dinosaurs.
The story is told in rhymes that are awkward and amateurish:
Dinos big and dinos small,
stood around the museum's hall.
Pooh stared in awe, eyes shining so wide,
as stories of ancient times filled him inside.
The art is equally awkward and amateurish, but has a certain charm to it, though it skews a bit more Disney than Shepard.
The most notable thing about this book is the museum guide wearing a hijab. I think this is the first time I've seen even a hint of Islam in a Pooh story.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:
