I can't decide if I like this book or not. On the plus side, it *does* seem to try to get readers to think for themselves about if the Loch Ness Monster is real or not. Especially the last two pages, which outline all the different theories and urge readers to keep an open mind.

On the other hand, a lot of actual book is spent on the different hoaxes, and why scientists say it's not possible that any large "monster" creature lives there, and how all these different tests were inconclusive... The proof *for* Nessie, like the many pictures and sonar readings that *weren't* proven hoaxes or fake, seem to take up much less space in the book and almost seem glossed over compared to the "cons" of an actual lake monster.

I may just be biased in favor, though, since I've always believed in Nessie. ( )
