It's written in the 1st person as if Captain Mackenzie Calhoun was telling the story. The story is about his final days on the U.S.S. Grissom as first officer and the loss of the ships captain. I rather enjoyed the story, even though it is one of the more sad tales in the series. ( ) The title is a mouthful, but Peter David comes through with this first-person tale told by Captain Mackenzie Calhoun. The Captain’s table format gives both David and his character an opportunity to tell a very personal story. I found it entertaining. You can find PAD among the crowd of the cover art.
