Biscuit is super-cute as he and his little friend Puddles run away from the bath the little girl has prepared. Adorable puppies are getting dirtier instead of cleaner! ( ) Bathtime for Biscuit is a fun picture book for younger students to read in guided reading groups or as a shared reading with the class. For a guided reading lesson, I would have students recall events in the story. I like the Biscuit books because it has a lot of high-frequency words and repetitive phrases. To go along with this, this would be a great shared reading; students can say the repeated phrases as a group (ex: "Woof, woof!" "Time for a bath, Biscuit!") This will keep them engaged in the book. In my opinion this is a great book for young children to read. This book is about an adorable, mischievous puppy named Biscuit. Everything is prepared for Biscuit’s bath except for Biscuit. This story uses short clear sentences to portray the story line. The language that is used is clear and easy to read and understand. The author uses illustrations of the actions that are occurring in the story to portray the story line. For example when Biscuit is rolling in the mud there is an illustration of him rolling in the mud. The big idea of this story is that not all things go as planned but it all works out in the end. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
