The writers are very descriptive in their writing and definitely give you a feel of their emotions during that period of time. It is also helpful because if you know someone that is going through the same thing it gives you a better picture of how to help them as much as you can.
My favorite story is about one girl who had to go through therapy and take medications for her eating disorder, which was Bulimia. It really helps me to understand more about eating disorders and the consequences of them.
I would recommend this book to, of course, teenage girls from eleven to eighteen because those are the prime years those certain things can happen. ( )
