A very improbable storyline (given the roles of the characters) and some mild dialog. But, still fun to read again. The family dynamic also made it a little more interesting. I need to see if I can find the second book somewhere to continue reading. ( )

Una cumbre comercial en Corellia hace que Han Solo vuelva al mundo natal que abandonó muchos años antes. Cuando llega al lejano planeta con Leia, sus hijos y Chewbacca, Han descubre que Corellia esta repleta de agentes de la Inteligencia de la Nueva República y se ha convertido en parte de un complicado plan de engaños y ardides cuyo objetivo ni siquiera entiende. Una cosa esta clara: los cinco mundos habitados del sector se hallan al borde de una guerra civil, y la antaño pacífica coexistencia entre las tres razas principales - humanos, selonianos y dralls - ha llegado a su fin.
De repente todo aquello por lo que han luchado Han, Leia y la Alianza se encuentra amenazado. Los generadores de interferencias bloquean todas las comunicaciones con Luke Skywalker y el resto del universo, y Han y Leia se ven atrapados en un mundo que resultara destruido en un terrible estallido de violencia a menos que puedan satisfacer las imposibles exigencias de un líder rebelde…

I realized I've had this trilogy on my shelves for years, but had never gotten around to reading it. Meh. It takes place ~20 years after fall of the Empire, so after the Thrawn trilogy and I'm pretty sure the Jedi Academy, but I'm not sure where it fits with other things. Not the best star wars book I've read, but not the worst either, and there's some stuff here that might be setting up cool stuff in the later books - I don't know yet, though. ( )

Some of the first books I'd read as a kid. I wonder if they would be so great if I read them now??? ( )
