Ants rule the world! These industrious insects live mostly in colonies and work together as a team. Worker ants take care of the colony and search for food. Ants eat seeds, fruit, and even other insects. Whenever ants find food, they carry it back to the colony to share. In ANTS!, TIME For Kidsr explores the lives of these hard-working insects. This book touches on many aspects of an ants life. It talks about their survival, reproduction, and habitat. It shows pictures of ants making a nest, caring for young, and attacking when provoked.
This book is for young readers and would not be beneficial in a high school Biology class. It would be a good book to use when doing a lecture on ecology, because it shows ants in their habitat and how they use and survive in it. ( )
