Max Rosenfeld was a Yiddish translator and editor of over 25 books, faculty at both Gratz College and the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism, Director of the Jewish Children's Folkshul in Philadelphia from 1963 to 1975, and a monthly columnist on "Our Secular Jewish Heritage" in Jewish Currents magazine for 30 years.
This collection of his best essays, translations, and educational writing ranges from Jewish holidays to secular Jewish philosophy to the power of Jewish literature (ancient and modern) to explore the human experience. They still provide insight into the issues facing secular Jews in the 21st century. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
