This book has very bright colors and illustrations for toddlers. This book can be incorporated into teaching toddlers colors and shapes! ( )

I thought this book was really cute. I have yet to read this to my daycare children but I would. I feel that the boys in group would love it especially the one the love to play with the cars and the trucks. Their were small sentences on the pages so that the small children would be able to sit through it.

This book is quirky, fun, and a very simple read for beginning readers. This book lists what a car is, what you can do with a car, the parts of a car, etc. I think this book would be especially great for ELL students in that it clearly captions the parts of a car and most of the words in the book are fairly easy to read. Although this book is worded, it clearly describes what is going on in the illustrations as well. So, if a reader gets stuck on what the words say, he or she could look at the picture cues to analyze the page. ( )
