Answer: It hid on a shelf with lots of other unread books. I pulled it out and noticed that I hadn't read it. This book is published by Amacom. As a general rule, I find that Amacom books are well written and contain solid material. So, I read it.
This book is full of solid techniques that are generally accepted, although perhaps seldom practiced. There it a little bit of repetition. But that is not annoying - it just helps to cement the idea by making sure that I got it the second time just in case I missed it the first time.
It is also organized so that it is easy to get and easy to review the material. There are section heading, sub section heading, and a review at the end of the chapter. I began reading in the middle of the book, and promptly found a yellow highlighter to mark the main points. I didn't need to - the section and sub section headings were mostly what I marked. I liked what I read so well that I went back to the beginning to go through the whole book. Each chapter is followed by roughly a page summarizing the chapter contents.
Again, Amacom published books are always welcome on my bookshelf, and this is among the best of what they publish. It is well worth having and applying. ( )
