Graveyards of the Pacific: From Pearl Harbor to Bikini Atoll, by Richard D. Ballard with Michael Hamilton Morgan (read 4 Mar 2002) This is a National Geographic coffee-table type book, full of pictures and about the Pacific war. The account of how the authors sought to locate sunken ships was of less interest to me. This was not a bad book, but one felt one could have better spent one's time reading some of the books listed in the bibliography, e.g., Midway: The Battle That Doomed Japan, by Mitsua Fuchida and Masatake Okuyuma, a 1955 book which apparently tells the story of the momentous battle from a Japanese view.
