His views on various issues are set out with clarity and humility. The title says it all. Too often we get caught up in the expression of our faith and Christ is found left at the fringes of our lives. Anglicanism has followed that path - reverting back to a form of worship that is papist and romish, and Christ is left at the fringes if He's there at all. Ryle, in his pithy style, always hits the nail on the head. He unties the knots of our natural theology and shows us true Christian, dare I say it, Anglican theology.
