Julin Kenga always thought that she was an only child and the heiress to her martial arts clan. So when an old kung-fu master gives her a magical bell and tells her to find her two older sisters, it comes as quite a surprise. She must find them quickly, as the evil King Baiwon is trying to capture the three bells that the Kenga sisters hold. Julin finds one sister, Kalin, in a nearby town, but the oldest sister, Seilin, is a pirate captain who won't believe that the other two are her sisters unless they defeat her in combat. The fight that Julin and Shouko Lin have against Shino has come to an end. Surprisingly, Julin and Shouko fight together flawlessly, as if they have fought together for centuries. However, Shouryuu wonders what it means, their ability to fight together perfectly and the combining of the light and dark bells.
Back at home, Kalin is becoming worried over her sisters' odd behaviors. Seilin, the eldest sister, assures Kalin that everything is okay. However, a short time later Kalin and Shiina, the boy who pines after Selin, take a walk back home and they are confronted by men who attempt to rob them. Kalin realizes that she has instinctual fighting abilities when the men attack Shiina. Surprisingly, though, Shiina seems to become offensive but runs away instead of really attacking. It indicates that perhaps Shiina is Kalin's protector.
The two girls defeated their enemy, Shino from the White Lotus Clan. Although Shino failed in his battle against the girls, he is still appraised by Bai Wang, who then takes all of the energy from Shino by absorbing him. Bai Wang now sets out to obtain his body from Ryu, the Misumi sisters' sensei. Bai Wang also needs to find the bells of darkness and maybe accomplished to obtain Shouko.
One of the police force has turned out to be the final member of the White Lotus Clan, and the other is the protector of Seilin. These two battle but one finds it difficult due to previous circumstances that place much blame and guilt.
In the end of the volume, Kalin accepts her fate as a fighter and now begins the final battle.
I enjoyed this volume incredibly because many of the relationships are being tied together and you can just anticipate the final battle and what it will mean for the balance of the world and for the sisters. I feel that the volume moved faster than the last one and that things seem to have come around perfectly. (
