Let's Go Traveling brings readers on a journey as if they were going to travel to the wonders of the world. Some included are the Great Wall of China, temples of Mexico, and Nazca lines and Inca Cities of Peru. This would be a great book to introduce the wonders of the world to young children. ( )

The book is written in first-person narration and tells how a young girl is travelling to different places (France, China, Mexico, Peru, England). I really like the illustrations of the book, because they are similar to collages. One can find stamps from different countries, postcards the girl sends home to her family, name badges for the suitcase, photographs from the countries, diary entries, maps,...and of course Rachel, the girl visiting all the countries. The book is adequate to be used in subjects such as Geography or English ( as a second language). It gives an overview of different places and can be used to teach topics such as famous sights or travelling. It is an amazing colourful book, providing lots of information for children. ( )
