The essays by Philip Levine and Norman Rush were the best of the essays. Both informed, in stylish prose, why they write and gave details on what they want out the exercise. PL was from deep down in his bones and experiences, wanting to pass on his soul and self to his kids and the world. NR from an intellectual point of view wanted to create the literary novel, one that shines a light on lives that helps us understand our own. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
