Its author, Peggy Claude-Pierre is a Canadian psychologist who's daughters had anorexia and were about to die. Those illnesses came thus close to her and she felt that she has to find a remedy. One of her answers was to start Montreux Clinic which has found ways to help and save lives of many anorectic young people. Utmost love is what seems to work best in this work according to results which were obtained. It means more than just clinical caretaking. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
Peggy Claude-Pierre runs an eating-disorders clinic in Canada which takes only those patients who are desperately ill and close to death. Her attitude is to refuse to accept that anyone suffering from anorexia needs to die, and her methods have had a 100% success rate in curing her patients. After bringing her two daughters back from a similar state, Peggy has treated and cured hundreds of children and adults, developing a programme based upon unconditional love and positive reinforcement which is the basis of this book.
