It had everything. Hinata made me cry. Naruto lost it and went totally crazy. Eight Tails. Holy crap. And then there was that whole sequence with his father. That made me tear up also. What a crazy emotional ride this volume is, and it's affecting me hard. Just. Wow. Wow. I know there was lots of fan speculation that the Fourth Hokage was Naruto's father, but I think this might be the first volume that So, a lot happened in this volume, but...I'm still glad I'm not buying this series. It could use a lot of tightening up. Also, while I thought this volume was fairly good, I did think that parts of it could have been drawn better. For example, Hinata's brief fight with Pain was hard to follow, to the point that I wasn't entirely sure what happened. (Original review posted on A Library Girl's Familiar Diversions.) Summary: In this vol Naruto is in battle with Pain and has already taken down 4 of the six Pains and he is by far the strongest ninja in the Leaf Village. Personal Reaction: This volume is the continued fight with Pain from vol 46 and its gets even more action and it was able to keep my attention throughout the reading. Classroom Extension: 1. I would allow the kinds to bring in there favorite cartoon book or manga. 2. I would teach the children about how things are expressed in a manga. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
