The formula is the same as others in the series: art work, interviews, character bios, volume synopsis, and pertinent essays all related to one or two CLAMP series. In this volume, the highlighted series are Magic Knight Rayearth and Angelic Layer. I like both of these manga, and their corresponding anime, so this was an enjoyable read. Both of them have awesome characters, fun adventure stories that have dark veins running through them (Angelic Layer is much the lighter of the two stories), and imaginative worlds. The art in this book is as gorgeous as always, and it was great to hear the thoughts of the CLAMP women about two of their popular series. As always, if you are particularly fond of CLAMP's varied cannon of work, then this is a nice bit of book candy. ( )
