A fun story, suspenseful and with some light romance. Great travelogue of parts of Europe and South America. It veers off at times to an introduction to some of the horrors of WWII without being too graphic. It provides a background of the carnage and human suffering that occurred. It discusses many of the technological advances of the German scientists. Young people, today, are apt to bandy the label “Nazi” without really knowing what the generation of this war meant when they classified someone a Nazi. This was demonstrated Matt Sanders actions toward the German citizen vs the actions and reasons of the Nazi’s following Bailey.
The end was totally unexpected! At times a little long and wordy but enjoyable none the less. Though I did deduct a star for format errors resulting in missing words that did at time break the flow of the story. ( )
